Nothing is more important to rifle accuracy than the quality of the barrel's chamber. In a mass-produced rifle, it is simply
impossible to achieve the close tolerances necessary for world-class results. The master machinists at Gruning Precision painstakingly
set up each barrel blank on the lathe, indicating it to within .0001" concentricity--that's right, one ten-thousandth
of an inch.
This means, in layman's terms, that the chamber is cut perfectly aligned with the bore, and as a result, the bullet enters
the rifling perfectly straight.
