The upper half of each ring is located by precision-ground pins, eliminating the problems associated with uneven tightening. It is impossible to damage the scope, because the top of the ring is kept perfectly horizontal, with even pressure holding the tube safe and secure.

 

The rings are held by clamps that tighten from both sides, not just one. Underneath each ring is a bar that fits the Picatinny slot tightly.

 

The top of each ring has a dovetail and an additional Picatinny slot, for attachment of additional accessories if needed.
